Seven Healthcare is seeking a Travel PACU RN for an assignment in Asheville, NC. This role offers three 12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours) with a weekly pay rate of $2,000.

Key Responsibilities of the PACU Travel Nurse

Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural sedation.

Monitor vital signs, airway status, pain levels, and overall stability.

Manage post-operative medications, including pain control and sedation reversal.

Identify and respond promptly to post-anesthesia complications.

Educate patients and families on recovery expectations and discharge instructions.

Communicate effectively with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and perioperative teams.

Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards.

Support patient safety during all phases of post-operative recovery.

Requirements for the PACU Role

Active North Carolina / Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred depending on unit.

Minimum of 1 year of recent PACU or critical care experience.

Strong assessment skills and ability to respond quickly in high-acuity situations.
