Our staffing agency is seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant with combined Human Resources and Accounting experience to support the leadership and operations team of a fast-paced and growing technology organization. This role requires a well-rounded professional who can balance HR functions with hands-on accounting support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to contribute to daily operations while ensuring accuracy in financial processes and employee support functions.
Responsibilities For HR & Accounting Assistant :
- Create a welcoming environment for staff and visitors
- Assist in the preparation of reports, proposals, presentations, and budgets
- Maintain records and other documents in both digital and hard copy formats
- Conduct research related to technologies, business opportunities, and market landscape
- Coordinate with the administrative team and other staff to ensure critical tasks are performed according to established processes
- Take and transcribe meeting notes
- Manage email and calendars as needed
- Support office operations and procedures, including accounting, purchasing, inventory, human resources, and visitor assistance
- Assist in HR functions such as onboarding / offboarding, payroll, training coordination, annual evaluations, and benefits management
- Provide support with financial administration, including budgets, contracts, payroll, and purchasing
- Contribute to accounting duties such as bookkeeping, audits, and filing as required
- Perform office support activities such as answering phones, directing calls, handling inquiries, reviewing correspondence, and distributing packages
- Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and arrange travel
- Help ensure facilities are clean, well maintained, and safe
- Participate in planning and executing company events, celebrations, and conferences
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications For HR & Accounting Assistant :
Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years of directly related experience, ORHigh School Diploma with at least 5 years of directly related experienceStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to create, compose, and edit professional documentsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationSolid understanding of HR processes and best practicesHands-on accounting knowledge, including data entry, purchasing, reconciliations, and familiarity with purchase orders, invoices, and billsProficiency with QuickBooks is strongly preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteCompensation For HR & Accounting Assistant :
$20-$21 Hourly (DOE)
