Job description

We are recruiting for a Direct Hire Opportunity as a Project Manager in Cary, NC

Position Details :

Position Type : Full Time / Direct Placement

Job Location : Cary, NC with Remote Work Flexibility (Relocation Assistance Available)

Benefits : Excellent benefits

Compensation : $110K to $150K annually plus bonus opportunities

Position Overview :

The Project Manager will deliver project designs while strengthening relationships with clients and team members. You’ll refine your management skills on engaging land-development projects, champion the Firm’s Forward-Thinking, Grounded-Design culture inside and outside the organization, and build lasting partnerships with managers, clients, and consulting partners.

Responsibilities :

  • Produce site designs, calculations, and reports for a wide variety of site / civil projects for public and private sector clients, including site layouts, grading and erosion control plans, drainage and stormwater calculations, and utility collection and distribution plans.
  • Actively participate in plan production efforts and work to develop client solutions consistent with the standards of regulatory agencies, our clients, and our Firm.
  • Management of a design team to complete assigned design work.
  • Provide quality control / quality assurance to ensure the production of Grounded Design, consistent with Firm standards and the requirements of regulatory agencies and our clients.
  • Construction administration duties including take-offs, cost estimates, bid letting, scheduling, RFI and pay app review, and site visits.
  • Ongoing ownership of Firm success through business, staff, and process development.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • At least 7 years' experience in land development and civil projects

    All positions require job site visits outdoors and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and client-driven environment. They require the ability to operate computers for extended periods of time and may require extended time traveling in vehicles and carrying equipment and materials up to 25 pounds.
