Field Service Power Generation Technician

We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician to join our team specializing in Power Generation in Kearney, NE.

In this role, you will make an impact by :

• Completing preventative maintenance and basic repairs on generators or components at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Engaging professionally with customers.
• Using specialized tools and following documented procedures to diagnose and repair issues, including preparing parts and tools.
• Completing documentation such as service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims.
• Participating in training aligned with skill and business needs.
• Adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies and reporting issues to supervisors.

Responsibilities

Technician Level I : Limited relevant experience; qualified for basic maintenance and repairs; requires supervision.

Effective communication, customer focus, accountability, planning, self-development, health and safety awareness, troubleshooting, and documentation are key skills.

Knowledge of power generation systems, product repair, service documentation, and technical escalation processes are essential.
