This is a contingent position based upon contract award. KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Research and Development Contract Specialist to join our team supporting a government client in Maryland. In this role you will be part of the acquisition management team.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in preparing documentation related to acquisition and procurement packages.
• Draft documentation such as Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Plan, Security Reviews, Sole Source Justification, Statement of Work, Proposal Evaluation Criteria, Proposal Evaluation Plan, Proposal Preparation Instructions, Source Selection, Process.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain tracking of all efforts and update document repository
• Support the establishment of new processes, documents, and file maintenance for contract's function.

Basic Compensation : $82,900 - $124,400. This range is for the Maryland area only. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and / or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation : KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
