Production Planner

Job Description

As a Planner you will provide status updates on all items moving through the shop, send project updates to stakeholders, and attend weekly production and project management meetings as well as bi-weekly sequence update meetings. You will work directly with Project Managers, serving as the primary communication link between Engineering, Shipping, Purchasing, and Production.

Responsibilities

• Provide status updates and percentage completion on items moving through the shop.
• Attend weekly production and project management meetings to stay updated on project progress.
• Participate in bi-weekly sequence update meetings to ensure accurate project schedules.
• Communicate production plans based on sequence and schedule updates.
• Maintain and update customer service sales order statuses.
• Export sequences from Epicor to Excel for weekly project updates.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure clear communication across departments.
• Work with Purchasing to track delivery dates for third-party items and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Communicate sequence changes to all affected teams and proactively address issues.
• Anticipate project timelines and alert teams to potential delays.

The pay range for this position is $35.00–$42.00 per hour.
