The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with online tutors nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you'll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students' learning journeys—from home.

Note : Varsity Tutors does not currently contract with tutors in certain states and territories.

What We Look For In a Tutor

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Expertise in High School Level American Literature with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Preference given to candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and / or graduate-level education.
