San Angelo, Texas - Palliative Care Physician Opening Availability :

  • Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Position Type : Full-time, Clinic Employee

Licenses & Certifications Required :

  • Board Certification / Eligibility : Primary Care Physician (BC / BE)

    • Fellowship : Not required

    Other : Must have appropriate medical licensure to practice in Texas

    Compensation & Benefits :

  • Sign-On Bonus : Yes (amount competitive)

    Clinical Role Overview :

  • Provide palliative care to patients with advanced chronic illnesses (e.g., heart failure, COPD, cancer)

    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team : chaplain, social worker, nurse practitioner, and physicians

    Focus on clinical excellence, patient comfort, and quality care

    Organization & Lifestyle :

  • Locally owned, not-for-profit health system; sole healthcare provider in San Angelo and surrounding areas

    • No traffic, average 9.5-minute commute
