Director of Civil Engineering - Transportation

We are looking for an experienced Director of Civil Engineering to oversee our team of transportation engineers. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of civil engineering experience and CEMT-UDOT Certification.
This is a leadership position that will oversee a team performing transportation projects across the state of Utah.

Responsibilities of the Director of Civil Engineering - Transportation :
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, specifications, and standards.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community members.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and budgets.
Qualifications for the Director of Civil Engineering - Transportation :
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Utah PE License
- UDOT CEMT Certification
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in transportation engineering
- Strong technical knowledge of transportation engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with government agencies, contractors, and community stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
