Bus Driver (2024-2025 school year)
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obey all traffic laws.
- Observe all mandatory safety regulations for school buses.
- Maintain discipline when students are on the bus.
- Report undisciplined students to the proper authority.
- Keep an assigned bus clean.
- Keep to an assigned schedule.
- Check the bus before each operation for mechanical defects.
- Notify the proper authority in case of mechanical failure or lateness.
- Discharge students only at authorized stops.
- Exercise responsible leadership when on out-of-district school trips.
- Transport only authorized students.
- Report all accidents and complete required reports.
- Enforce regulations against smoking and eating on the bus.
- Report for drug / alcohol testing as required by Board Policy.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT :
Salary Range : Range 9 - Support Staff Hourly Salary Schedule ($14.57 / hr. - $26.45 / hr. depending on relevant experience)
Length of Contract : 178 contract days
FLSA Status : Non-exempt
Personnel Status : Classified

Performance of this job will be evaluated according to provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Staff Personnel
