Job descriptionWork in an acute care hospital operating room 10-hour shifts from 0630 to 1530 with variable days off during the week Call is required with a 30-minute response time and is scheduled as needed by the department Assignment length is 13 weeks No local candidates accepted; must live at least 100 miles from the facility Responsible for scrubbing and circulating duties for operative procedures Prepares the operating room, assembles equipment and supplies, and ensures proper aseptic technique Coordinates with the surgical team to plan and implement intraoperative patient care Acts as a communication liaison with patients, families, and the surgical team Candidate is expected to participate in department admissions to the operative suite Active, non-pending RN license in hand and in good standing Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved nursing program Minimum of 2 years recent acute care operating room experience in a US hospital Current certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association CPI certification mandated by the position References from at least two managers or supervisors, one from the most recent employer, preferred Valid US Social Security Number required High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
