OrthAlign, Inc., a Smart Technologies, growing medical device company, has an immediate opening for a Consignment Analyst II. Working independently with minimal supervision, the Consignment Analyst II leads and supports a variety of tasks. This position is primarily responsible for efficient and accurate tracking, reporting, and utilization of consigned assets to meet business and customer needs. This role provides day-to-day leadership and direction to a small team fostering accuracy, accountability, and continuous process improvement within the Consignment function. The Analyst II partners cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Commercial Operations to streamline consignment operations and drive performance visibility through reporting and analytics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for management of Field inventory (consigned instrument sets, loose inventory and units)
Develop and communicate processes and procedures to control and ensure efficient utilization of field inventory
Perform regular annual audits and reconciliation of inventory held at customers and distributorsDevelop and provide regular reporting and metrics of field inventory utilizationEvaluate field inventory levels and utilization; provide recommendations on optimal inventory levelsPartner with sales management and distributors to analyze and redeploy assetsReview, research, investigate and resolve field inventory discrepancies and disputes related to transferred, returned, lost or damaged inventoryProduce regular department reports for internal and external groupsPublish key metrics Dashboard for the departmentServe as backup for Customer Master Data maintenanceResponsible for overseeing loaner programAccountable for set turns utilization and reallocationsLead small team providing direction, support, fostering engagement and trustREQUIREMENTS
Strong proficiency using MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)ERP experience, preferably in ExpandableEfficiency in Power BIExcellent written and verbal communication skillsResults-oriented with positive mindset and tenacious follow-upAbility to work as a collaborative team member as well as independentlyExcellent attention to detail, producing high quality outputFlexibility and strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasksApplies sound judgment when making decisions and communicating with peers and managementProblem analysis and problem-solving skillsExperience being a people leaderExperience involving customer contact and resolution of customer difficulties is essentialExperience developing and transforming processes and procedures to drive efficiencies and improvementINCLUDED
