Job Overview

Saronic seeks a User Guides Technical Writer to create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for the end-user. You help the user understand our autonomous surface vessels and how to operate them. Your day-to-day will consist of translating complex concepts into digestible content, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders, being curious and proactive, and project management. It’s a plus if you are familiar with DoD standards and regulations related to technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
• 2-4 years of experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-driven environment or within the defense industry
• 2 years of experience interacting with technical stakeholders
• Proficient with version control systems and front-end development
• Familiarity with docs as code, markdown content formatting, Javascript, CSS, and Nunjucks templating a plus
• Track record of capable execution of multiple projects at once, self-direction, and meeting deadlines
• Submission of a portfolio
