McLaren Oakland is a 318-bed Trauma Level 2 hospital that provides primary and specialty healthcare services to the greater Pontiac and Oakland County, Michigan communities.

Our Med-Surg unit is a 30 bed unit with semi-private rooms. Patients on this unit may have Cartizan drips, post cath lab patients, post surgical non-ICU, chest tubes and may require tube feedings to list a few common ailments.

Responsibilities :

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice following hospital policies and procedures, nursing process guidelines, standards of care, and standards of practice.
