SCOPE OF POSITION

The Operations Manager is an intermediate leadership position, responsible for a specific territory and business region of the company's operations. The Operations Manager is responsible for the following aspects of this business : equipment, crew deployments, field operations, safety, and reporting. They will aim to improve the working environment and business processes of the applicable business unit(s) and to strengthen client relationships to ensure successful continuance of business operations.

OVERALL GOALS FOR POSITION

• Provide comprehensive support to the business unit manager in overseeing project operations.
• Execute and manage intricate site investigation programs across the region.
• Lead and supervise field crews, ensuring projects are conducted professionally and safely with well-trained teams.
• Cultivate a client-focused culture centered on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Concentrate on identifying and capitalizing on opportunities, projects, and clients while maintaining a robust local client base.
• Optimize teamwork across combined operations for enhanced collaboration.
• Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to enhance organizational effectiveness through continuous improvement and the implementation of strategies, policies, and practices.
• Implement strategic plans for the business's operational activity, translating objectives into tangible operational outcomes.
• Continuously monitor and enhance overall operational performance.
• Collaborate and support other Operations Managers in a cohesive manner
