Job Title : Concrete Carpenter
Job Description
Join our team as a Concrete Carpenter and maintain an image of excellence across jobsites, including job trailers, equipment, and vehicle housekeeping and maintenance.
This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, performing layouts according to scale, transferring lines and grades, and possessing basic carpentry skills to build concrete structures.
Responsibilities also include fabricating and erecting formwork and bulkheads using wood and proprietary systems, aligning and plumbing forms, installing ties, water stop and chamfer, laying out, placing and tying rebar, placing, finishing and curing concrete, erecting scaffold and handrail systems, setting and plumbing panels for MSE walls, setting sleeves, block outs, anchor bolts and other embeds, and familiarizing with the setup and operation of bridge finishing machines.
Welding and fabricating and installing wood and steel forming systems, particularly for heavy civil construction projects, are also key tasks.
Perform other job-related responsibilities as required or assigned by the manager.
