The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst  plays a key role in supporting the development of new initiatives and monitoring existing programs for the Agency. This position is responsible for providing the Agency with analyses, forecasts, ongoing performance analytics and reporting. The FP&A Analyst will work closely with the Single Family, Multi-Family and Asset Management teams, as well as administrative functions to gather, analyze, and interpret data to support actionable decision making.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES :

• Support budgeting and forecasting across the general fund,  single-family, and multi-family indentures including performance analysis      and identification of financial risks and trends.
• Collaborate with the accounting team on the monthly close process and reporting to support decision making.
• Provide support for the Agency’s long term financial planning and analysis, including cash flow modeling, scenario modeling, and asset / liability  matching strategies and forecasting.
• Perform financial, economic and industry benchmarking, research, and analysis to support the management of the Agency’s balance sheet.
• Build financial models to support strategic business decisions, business cases, and ongoing initiatives.
• Perform special projects and serve on task forces and committees as needed.
• Serve as back up to several functions in the Office of Financial Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
