We are seeking a highly intuitive, skilled, and hands-on House Manager / Chef to provide exceptional hospitality and comprehensive household support to a family based in Denver, Colorado , with travel to the Hamptons, New York .
This pivotal role demands a proactive professional who seamlessly manages all aspects of the household, anticipating needs before they arise.
Your primary focus will be delivering outstanding food and beverage service, creating delicious and healthy meals, coordinating light event planning, and ensuring the family's daily life runs effortlessly across all properties.
This position requires someone comfortable with a high level of hands-on task management , from coordinating travel logistics and handling luggage to performing light household repairs .
This position is open to a part-time or full-time schedule.
Key Responsibilities Culinary & Hospitality Management Plan, shop for, and prepare meals- 3 times per week. Manage all kitchen operations across properties, including inventory, meticulous grocery shopping, and maintaining a professional, clean, and organized workspace.
Provide formal food and beverage service for the family and guests (including tea and coffee service throughout the day). Greet, attend to, and manage guests and household vendors with exceptional professionalism and discretion.
Coordinate hospitality and lifestyle needs such as restaurant reservations, dry cleaning, errands, and light event planning.
Household & Property Management Proactively manage household inventory and stocking across all residences.
This includes ensuring pantries, refrigerators, and linens are fully stocked before the family's arrival at either property.
Manage travel logistics- personally assist with all luggage packing, loading, and handling for family travel.
Handle minor household tasks, light repairs, and hands-on maintenance as needed (e.g., replacing lightbulbs, tightening cabinet hinges, basic organization).
Assist in the integration of new properties into the family’s portfolio, including setting up kitchens, stocking supplies, and establishing vendor relationships.
Oversee and coordinate external contractors, maintenance staff, and cleaning services.
Qualifications 5+ years of demonstrable experience in a private household, luxury hospitality, or a similar high-end, service-oriented role.
Proven culinary expertise, with extensive experience as a Private Chef or in a similar professional cooking capacity.
Exceptional organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Highly intuitive and proactive—the ability to anticipate and solve issues before they become problems is essential.
Comfortable with a hands-on workload that includes packing, lifting, light repairs, and all aspects of kitchen management.
Discreet, professional, respectful of family privacy, and capable of maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Excellent, verifiable references are required.
