Executive Chef
The Executive Chef heads the Culinary leadership team, and will oversee all culinary operations within the hotel, as well as the Stewarding department. Plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees on the culinary team and will be responsible for food preparation and menu development while ensuring superior quality and consistency. Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control. Select, train, evaluate, lead, coach, motivate, discipline, all kitchen employees ensuring that all cultural and core standards are met. High school education, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience is required. Three to five years of experience in multiple culinary leadership positions is required. Advanced culinary knowledge is expected on this position. Proficient knife skills and ability to multi-task is required.
A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work morning, afternoon, or evening shifts, weekends, and holidays. Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States.
