The Impact You Will Make

This is an exciting opportunity as a Advanced Manufacturing Specialist to lead the manufacturing responsibilities for the NPI (New Product Introduction) teams to scale up products / processes that meet our manufacturing strategies and objectives. You will also be working with our contract manufacturing facilities globally and a diverse supplier base to drive quality and service improvement, cost reduction, lead-time reduction and strategic Source of Supply changes. This position requires a strong understanding of injection molding and tooling needed for products.

Skills And Contributions

• Applies fundamental technical skills within area of expertise.
• Expertise has leading recognition within the company; actively contributes to broader functional process.
• Well versed in injection molding discipline (part design, materials, mold design / construction, processing, and presses).
• Experienced design for manufacture / assembly.
• Understanding process scale requirements from R&D through commercial supply.
• Familiar with key measurement technologies utilized in injection molding.
• Able to mediate between the needs of the product design and the capability of manufacturing.
• History of successful scaleup, qualification, and management of tooling and molding suppliers in a regulated market.
