Job description
A company is looking for a Senior Database Engineer to provide technical leadership across their global cloud-based data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design, operate, and optimize global, multi-region database architectures across AWS and Azure
Support and optimize data ingestion and pipeline workflows, partnering with Data Engineering teams
Implement database security best practices and maintain operational documentation
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience as a Database Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role
Deep expertise with SQL and proficiency in Python for automation
Extensive experience with AWS and Azure database services
Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts and global database design
Experience implementing monitoring and observability for production database systems
