Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead our 3P Carrier Strategy. This team is responsible for the planning and implementation of NA Direct Fulfillment's carrier capacity for 3P carriers, identifying the services required to support DF vendors while also shaping the 3P carrier strategy for both the short term and long term horizons.

Key job responsibilities include :

• Working with partners in Amazon Procurement, and 3P Carriers to align capacity to demand, with respect to origin location, size, special handling requirements, and speed expectations.
• Owning goals for Transportation Execution and providing visibility to key metrics through regular business reviews with internal stakeholders and Leaders (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Business Reviews).
• Building alignment with internal and external transportation providers; negotiating and delivering incremental carrier capacity when needed to meet program volume, particularly for Prime week and Peak season.
• Measuring quality of services delivered by 3P and 1P transportation providers.
• Developing mechanisms to provide visibility to performance and hold partners accountable.
• Working with Alternate Fulfillment colleagues in Business Development, Account Management, Product, Tech as well as Amazon internal carriers to build processes and tools to enable scalable and flexible operations and drive growth towards program goals.
• Influencing the vision and detailed requirements for automated solutions to enable our business to manage key levers like transit time, transit time contingencies, and carrier capacity.

The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
