Operations Manager
The Manager of Commercial Enrollment is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of membership enrollment for ACA Consumer, Electronic 834 enrollment vendors and manual enrollment work within IBC and vendor systems including mPulse / H3O, EDI Portal and Health Proof. The accurate and timely processing of member ID Cards and various Member Correspondences. Effectively manages supervisors to ensure that productivity, fallout and quality standards, attendance policies, corporate training, and performance management timeline are being maintained.
Responsibilities :
- Effectively manages the inventory received from all sources with the supervisors, including but not limited, to the mailbox, e-mail to One Hub, Report Center, SNOW, vendor applications and the queues. Applies strategies to manage the inventory in under five days.
- Monitors that the supervisors apply their coaching and counseling skills when needed and apply corrective action when necessary.
- Manages daily huddles with the supervisors to plan inventory and priorities.
- Analyzes all aging and repetitive inquiries to determine root cause and works with business partners to find and implement solutions to resolve.
- Responds to customer RFPs and Performance Guarantees.
- Prepares and analyzes required data to determine if all corporate and divisional goals are being met to include operational efficiencies.
- Assists the Director to establish the strategic direction for the division.
- Facilitates regularly scheduled meetings with management team to discuss EDI, manual enrollment and id card issues, prioritization changes and other customer concerns.
- Establishes, defines and communicates IBC Enrollment policies and procedures with Director level approval.
- Creates and maintains a team atmosphere and work environment to promote work productivity.
- Represents Director at meetings, when needed.
- Performs other duties as assign.
Qualifications
Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent work experienceMinimum 6 or more years' experience in health care operations and 4-5 of supervisory experience.Demonstrated experience managing and dealing effectively with large teams and leading cross departments.Knowledge and Skills :
Familiarity with data processing and the ability to work with documented policies and procedures.Health Proof, Zelis, Web Integration, EDI Portal, Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Avaya or a system that logs productivity.Demonstrated experience with Health Insurance Regulations and enrollment systems and policies and procedures.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Demonstrated leadership, decision making, strategic thinking and collaborative skillsIBX is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
