Power BI Administrator

SUMMARY:
As a Power BI Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our Power BI environment to empower our teams with actionable insights. You will be responsible for maintaining the health and performance of our Power BI infrastructure, ensuring data security, managing data connections, and collaborating with various departments to develop and deploy impactful reports and dashboards.

You must be eligible to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship.

JOB DUTIES

Power BI Infrastructure Management:
• Install, configure, and maintain Power BI services, gateways, and data sources.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.

Data Security and Governance:
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Champion data governance policies and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Data Integration:
• Develop and maintain data connectors to various data sources and databases.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• MS Certifications, particularly as a Power BI Data Analyst Associate or similar business intelligence certifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Proven experience in Power BI administration
• Strong understanding of Power BI platform including workspaces, deployment pipelines, data hub exploration, PowerBI desktop and report builder
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to create reporting solutions from blue printing through implementation
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Understanding of Google Big Query and integration with PowerBI
• Ability to create reporting solutions from blue printing through implementation
