Job description

The ideal candidate for this position must have a minimum of 3mo+ of recent verifiable experience with installing HVAC sheet metal duct and related equipment used in commercial and multi-family buildings.

Job Duties :

  • Install sheet metal ductwork.
  • Install hangers, straps, threaded rods, Unistrut, etc.
  • Install grills, fans, etc.
  • Use man lifts and duct jacks for the purpose of installing HVAC duct.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for the purpose of installing HVAC duct.

Experience Requirements :

  • Install various types of HVAC and related equipment using blueprints.
  • Operate lifts for installing duct and equipment.
  • Use various methods of insulation to control duct temperatures.
  • Prepare for the installation by examining building layouts.
  • Utilize hand tools to install duct and equipment.
