Job Title : Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Facility : Havasu Regional Medical Center (HRMC), Lake Havasu City, AZ Shift : 5 : 00 PM – 5 : 00 AM

Overview : Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join the laboratory team. The ideal candidate will perform routine and specialized laboratory testing to support patient diagnosis and treatment, with a strong emphasis on microbiology and blood bank proficiency.

Responsibilities :

Perform diagnostic laboratory procedures including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, and transfusion services.

Conduct plate reading, sensitivities, and organism identification (IDs) in microbiology.

Collect, process, and analyze specimens with precision and efficiency.

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and quality control.

Document and report test results accurately in electronic health records.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.

Qualifications :

Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent required.

Current certification as MLT (ASCP or equivalent).

Must have microbiology experience.

Must be proficient in blood bank procedures.

Must be able to perform plate reading, sensitivities, and IDs.

Minimum of 2+ years of recent laboratory experience required.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
