Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Manager to support the Mobility, Surveillance, & Bombers team in San Antonio, TX.
The Senior Manufacturing Manager will lead modification and manufacturing preparation activities for the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program. The role is responsible to lead and integrate the requirements and activities to ensure readiness for induction into modification. Overall modification preparation activities include facilities development, tooling / equipment readiness, staffing and training. In addition, this role will lead the process development activities for readiness with a special focus on critical areas of opportunity requiring solutions prior to induction. Integration across functional organizations including Engineering, Quality, Program, etc. is required for success. The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in large-scale manufacturing, modification, and / or maintenance activities. Further, experience with pre-production or development activities is required. The Leader will be the primary focal for preparations activities and subsequently transition into direct operations oversight after induction.
Position Responsibilities :
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
