- Minimum of 1.5 years nursing experience, with preference for Level 1 or 2 hospital exposure\n
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; proficient in reading and interpreting cardiac strips\n
- Ability to pass an online EKG telemetry competency assessment prior to assignment start\n
- Familiarity with NIH Stroke Scale or willingness to obtain certification\n
- Experience or willingness to float to step-down / advanced care units across multiple nearby campuses\n
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred but not mandatory\n
- Capability to work every other weekend and holiday shifts; medical exemptions not accepted\n\nResponsibilities : \n
- Manage patient ratios targeted at 1 : 4, occasionally up to 1 : 5-6, delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment\n
- Float among designated hospitals within a 15-mile radius, adapting to varied unit needs\n
- Participate in team nursing or primary nursing models depending on unit requirements\n
- Adhere to infection control protocols including fitting for N95 respirators or utilizing PAPR as needed\n\nSchedule : \n
- Night shifts, 4 shifts of 12 hours each (7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM)\n
- Option for 36 or 48-hour schedules, with overtime compensation for hours worked beyond 48 in a week\n
