Job Details

The Manager of Commercial Operations is essential in driving the success of projects and initiatives within the organization. This role works closely with product leaders to promote and support the development of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), establish standard practices in innovation project management, and coordinate activities across diverse teams. As a pivotal member of the commercialization team, you will manage daily operations, execute strategic plans, and provide guidance on potential risks and impacts. You'll have the opportunity to interact with a variety of stakeholders, contribute to the innovative solutions we offer, and support product leaders in fostering a culture of accountability and progress.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Project Management :

Lead and support the execution of the commercialization function for various products / services / solutions.

  • Collaborate with product leaders to set, track, and maintain OKRs to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Guide teams through Cencora’s innovation process, ensuring resource allocation and driving key milestones.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of innovation processes and promote alignment with best practices.
  • Conduct regular reviews of OKR progress, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Utilize project management methodologies to efficiently coordinate resources.
  • Develop project plans based on feedback from leaders and oversee initiative execution.
  • Facilitate key APS ceremonies, including Portfolio Reviews and commercialization stages.
  • Communication and Reporting :

    • Deliver timely updates to leadership on project status and challenges.

  • Provide accurate, consistent status reports to stakeholders.
  • Organize regular solution reviews to equip leaders with essential data for strategic decisions.
  • Coordinate working sessions and workshops with cross-functional teams.
  • Risk Management :

    • Identify and manage potential project risks proactively.

  • Conduct formal reviews upon project completion to assess satisfaction.
  • Review and recommend enhancements for innovation tracking tools to meet organizational needs.
  • Perform related tasks as assigned.

    • Experience and Qualifications :

  • Experience :

    • A minimum of 5 years in project management or related roles.

  • Skills :

    • Adept in project management with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication with excellent presentation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership qualities.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation development.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Loop, or Azure Dev Ops is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with the capability to develop long-term plans influenced by stakeholder input.

    Salary Range

    Salary range for this role is $88,700 - $126,940. This range reflects a national average; actual salaries may differ based on location and relevant factors.
