What your day looks like
- Build mattress and bedding components with precise, repeatable techniques — from assembling coils to marrying layers and finishing edges
- Inspect every piece you touch, troubleshoot defects, and perform touch-up repairs to uphold Ashley's high standards
- Log output, materials, and work steps using digital scanners and other modern production tools
- Operate and maintain specialized machinery and hand tools, following established procedures and safety practices
- Prepare products for shipment through careful wrapping, labeling, and packaging
- Keep tools organized and your area clean to support a smooth, efficient workflow
- Communicate equipment needs and perform basic preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Use proper material handling methods and ergonomic aids to set up workstations and move product

Physical capability : Frequently push and pull loads up to 100 lbs; occasionally manipulate up to 250 lbsTechnical aptitude : Comfortable with production machinery and hand tools; you follow procedures and prioritize safetyDetail : Accurately record production data using scanners or handwritten logsQuality mindset : Spot issues early and correct them to keep quality highSafety first : Proactively maintain a safe environment for yourself and your teamExperienced bonus
A $2,000 Experienced New Hire / Retention Bonus applies to new hires placed into a coiling assembly or mattress assembly role who bring at least 1 year of bedding assembly manufacturing experience; verification is required.
