Suncoast Behavioral Health Center opened its doors in 2014 and provides the highest quality of behavioral healthcare for patients in a safe, secure and nurturing environment. Suncoast Behavioral Health Center is a 60-bed free-standing psychiatric hospital. We offer diverse inpatient and residential programs for children and adolescents.

In a highly specialized field of psychiatry, our goal is to promote cognitive, social, physical and emotional development to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to help our patients succeed.

The Hospital is looking for a Cook . The overall functions of this position is to prepare and serve regular and special diets to patients and employees under the supervision of the Director of Dietary Services. Maintains a clean environment. Flexible hours. Must be patient and tolerant toward staff, patients and patient family members.

Job Duties / Responsibilities :

• Maintains high standards of food handling and cleanliness.
• Uses cook, chill or conventional cooking methods to prepare quality foods in sufficient quantities.
• Adheres to standardization of recipes and portion control to prevent food waste and control cost.
