This community hospital needs ongoing coverage starting in January, up to two weeks per month. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m., with pager call on weeknights and weekends, though call-backs are rare. The practice runs 16 points of service with 3040 cases daily, covering CV, general, ortho, oncology, GI, vascular, and pediatrics (no OB, trauma, or neuro crani). Physicians work in a medical direction model, with CV docs taking only CV call but also performing non-cardiac cases.
