Lead Maintenance Technician

Overview

Fairfield Property Management is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician with outstanding leadership skills to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining various aspects of our community, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and painting, and you will also lead and inspire the maintenance team. Your leadership abilities will empower the team to tackle maintenance challenges with efficiency and confidence, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. By developing strong relationships with team members, you will create a culture that helps ensure an excellent living experience.

Job Highlights

• Performs general maintenance for the upkeep of the property
• Oversees the maintenance team
• Collaborates with the Property Manager to ensure all maintenance goals and standards are met
• Diagnoses and resolves maintenance issues ranging from plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, painting, HVAC, and appliance repair
• Prepares vacant apartments for new occupancy in a timely manner using the make-ready checklist
• Accompanies vendors into units and checks quality of work
• Performs daily maintenance of property grounds, ensuring curb appeal is maintained
• Maintains the maintenance shop and ensures that all necessary tools and supplies are available
