Registered Nurse Job Details Location : Aurora, CO 80045 (Denver metro area - Colorado nursing jobs) Facility : 41-Operating Room Level 1 Trauma Center Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Shift : 12-hour day shifts (10 : 45 AM - 11 : 15 PM); occasional float to 6 : 45 AM and 8 : 45 AM starts Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirements : Yes, per unit needs On-Call Requirements : None Floating : Required to other University of Colorado Hospital ORs as needed Estimated Weekly Pay : $2180-$2240 Operating Room RN Qualifications Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room Registered Nurse experience Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center RN experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Proficiency with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system Ability to circulate emergent craniotomy cases Experience with General, GU / GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastics surgical cases Active Colorado or Compact State RN license (Registered Nurse license) Current AHA BLS certification No first-time travelers accepted Key Responsibilities for OR RN Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to surgical patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Circulate and assist in a broad range of surgical procedures, including trauma, general, GU / GYN, neuro, ENT, and plastics Float to other operating rooms within the healthcare facility as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response Utilize Epic for all clinical charting and documentation Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols Participate in orientation modules and ongoing nursing education as required Apply now to join our dedicated surgical nursing team in Aurora, Colorado, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
