Administrative Professional 2
The Emergency Medical Services is a division of the Ohio Department of Public Safety. They are responsible for Certification of all emergency medical service and fire service providers in the state of Ohio and certification of fire and EMS instructors; Accreditation and chartering of fire and EMS training institutions and approval of EMS continuing education sites; Collection and analysis of EMS incident data; "Lead agency" for the state's trauma system; Support of the EMS for Children (EMSC) program; and Regulation of private medical transportation services (air medical, ambulance, MoICU, and ambulette).
Under general supervision of Investigation Supervisor 1 within Emergency Medical Services (EMS), relieve superior of routine administrative duties, makes recommendations regarding program activities & assists in developing new procedures related to established program policy :
Provides routine information & assistance via telephone or in person to internal & external customers for the purpose of responding to inquiries, requests & / or complaints :

Qualifications
OPTION 1 : 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in secretarial / administrative professional field.
OPTION 2 : Completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college.
OPTION 3 : 6 mos. exp. as Administrative Professional 1, 16871. Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above. Job Skills : Administrative Support / Services
