Provides direction and leadership for youth and teen programs that foster the educational, social, emotional, and physical development of young people. Oversee the implementation of programs and initiatives designed to ensure every participant has access to a world-class learning experience that prepares each for success in college, career, and civic life. Support to develop and implement strategies and processes that create a clear and concise pathway to program enrollment and outcomes metrics. Along with the Senior Director of Youth Services, developing, planning, evaluation, organizing metrics and impact data to bring about the successful design and completion of strategic initiatives and projects. Work closely with staff, community partners, and stakeholders to create impactful youth services. The Manager will lead a team dedicated to delivering high-quality services, ensuring these programs are accessible, engaging and effective in meeting the diverse needs of the youth community.
Manages and supervises program staff, interns, and volunteers. Leads self and others by demonstrating the ability to pivot and respond to unpredictable, disruptive, and ambiguous situations. Leads, coaches, mentors, and develops a team of youth services staff and volunteers, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth. Develops processes, tools, and techniques used to advance desired organizational outcomes and manage change effectively. Plans, develops, implements and monitors programs, goals and objectives. Creates, implements, and reports on interim and annual goals, objectives, and deadlines. Maintains a diverse array of high-quality, evidence-based, and culturally responsive curricular and programmatic resources; ensures appropriate professional development of staff and partners to deliver these resources. Collaborates with Senior Director of Youth Services to develop, implement and report on quality metrics/evaluations of program services. Completes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and other essential documents and correspondence as required by funding sources and Marillac St. Vincent Family Services. Ensures that systems are in place and monitors compliance with procedures for maintenance of confidentiality of data. Participates in grant funding applications to the appropriate agencies. Collaborates with Development team for fundraising opportunities to assist in the provision of funds to scale, operate, and maintain programming. Builds and maintains strong relationships with community organizations, schools, parents, and other stakeholders to support youth programs. Collaborates with partners to maximize resources and impact. Conducts regular and periodic meetings with staff, interns, and volunteers, to ensure the following: Implementation of all plans, programs, and projects strictly adhering to prescribed deadlines and schedules. Communicates relevant information pertaining to youth services and ensures information is cascaded to the proper channels within the team in particular. Manages the financial resources of the program(s) to accomplish the program objectives within the established guidelines. Participates in the development and management of the program budget, including monitoring, and approving program expenses. Ensures that the operating expenses are well within the prescribed limits of the budget plans and fiscal guidelines. Oversees monitoring and maintenance of records inputted by the team to ensure complete and accurate participants files that includes assessments, interventions, and case notes. Coordinates with marketing and communications department and Managers for new and updated marketing materials. Supervises and guides program staff, including planning and evaluating functional activities, recruiting and training new staff, and supporting the professional development and growth opportunities of the team. Participates in hiring, performance reviews, leaves, promotions, salary changes, terminations, and documentation of all personnel actions. Participates in annual program self-assessment. Participates in the community needs assessment process, to determine program design options, needs, and opportunities in collaboration with Senior Director of Youth Services. Adheres to all policies and procedures as outlined in the Marillac St. Vincent Family Services Employee Handbook. Ensures all youth program comply with local, state, and federal regulations and organizational policies. Participates in supervision, coaching and staff meetings as required by department. Attends required professional development and trainings. Defines employee roles and develops protocols to maintain process efficiencies. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university with experience working in family services in a nonprofit social-services setting required. Master's Preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in youth development with at least 2 years of direct youth facilitation experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience managing staff and volunteers in a diverse and dynamic environment. Proven track record of designing and implementing successful youth programs.

Demonstrates the ability to work independently, with the ability to handle daily responsibilities and projects with minimal direct supervision. Demonstrates initiative, consistent follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Demonstrates intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, videoconference software and client electronic data systems.
