Your Role : As an Outpatient Behavioral Health Counselor, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services aimed at enhancing clients' mental health and overall well-being. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, crafting individualized treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with other professionals. You will also engage in outreach initiatives to promote our services and attract new referrals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to identify clients' needs and suitable interventions.
- Employ standardized assessment tools to collect relevant information.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and treatment teams.
- Set measurable goals tailored to clients' unique requirements.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Implement therapeutic techniques to address various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders.
- Provide consistent and comprehensive care to your assigned caseload.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Document all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organizational standards.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide holistic care.
- Participate in treatment team meetings to review client progress and strategize on treatment approaches.
- Deliver immediate support during crisis situations and develop safety plans when necessary.
- Engage in community outreach efforts to promote our mental health services.
- Connect clients and families to additional resources and support services as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest best practices and treatment modalities in mental health therapy.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to address inquiries and concerns.
Qualifications :
State-Specific Requirements :Alabama :Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
Minimum of two years' experience working with children and / or families, which may include internships.Must be eligible for licensure as a LPC, LMFT, LCSW.Florida :Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
Minimum of one year experience working with children and / or families, which may include internships and volunteer work.Mississippi :Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
Minimum of two years' experience working with children and / or families, which may include internships.Must be eligible for licensure as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.North Carolina :Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
Minimum of one year experience working with children and / or families, which may include internships.Must hold associate license as a LCSWA or LCMHCA.Tennessee :Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
Minimum of two years' experience working with children and / or families, which may include internships and volunteer work.Must be eligible for licensure as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.Virginia :Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
