The DV Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the direction of all major financial initiatives and aspects of Dudley Ventures including preparation of current financial reports, summaries, forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook. The CFO will play a critical role in developing and implementing business strategy as an advisor to executive management, evaluating and assisting them with the annual budget, long-term strategic financial plan, and economic performance. This position directly supports the efforts and responsibilities for all the Financial Reporting and Accounting Department activities of Dudley Ventures, which cover the entire breadth of reviewing, monitoring, managing and reporting of transactions across a multitude of asset classes. It also acts as a liaison for external advisors, including valuation experts, actuaries, and auditors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Serve as member of Dudley executive management team and guide President on financial aspects of the organization to meet profitability and return goals. Responsible for managing all financial aspects of the organization, accounting (A / R, A / P, Reconciliations, Tax) budgeting, reporting, planning and audit along with the extensive management and reporting services for special purpose tax credit entities. Manage and provide leadership to accounting, tax and finance employees. Foster a culture of adaptability and innovation, enabling the finance function to respond effectively to rapidly changing business conditions and market dynamics. Produce cost benefit analysis for identified acquisition targets and new market opportunities. Oversee tax strategy, compliance, planning, and risk management, ensuring optimization of tax position and adherence to changing regulations. Lead financial reporting and accounting department in transactional financial activities including negotiation, review, and execution of complex legal and financial documents. Provide support to transaction / marketing team in determining GAAP treatment for parties investing in tax credit transactions. Lead client relations activities, including maintaining strong relationships with investors and community development entities. Assist with implementation of strategic business plans for multiple business verticals. Review financial information to provide cost controls through the budget reporting process and seek profit opportunities on an ongoing basis. Responsible for oversight of the Company's critical and significant accounting policies.
Required Skills : Broad finance experience with ability to leverage financial acumen to inform strategic decision making. Proven track record of success in business planning, budgeting and P&L management. Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with advisory and compliance services, marketing, and HR to align financial strategies with business objectives. Detail-oriented with an ability to critically analyze financial data and reports, including ability to interpret and convey complex legal and financial documents with precision. Strong governance and compliance skills along with experience in a public company environment. Strong negotiation and follow up skills, be a self-starter and goal oriented.
