Maintenance & Operations Supervisor - Lift Station / Water Plant

Organizes and coordinates the day-to-day activities of staff engaged in the installation, maintenance, repair, expansion, and operations of water production, water distribution and wastewater collection facilities as well as knowledge of SCADA system. Maintains systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules for restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.

Overseeing operations of the city's water plants to ensure provision of quality water to citizens and operations of Lift stations

Observes and enforces all safety requirements involved in construction, maintenance, and repair of the city's water and wastewater systems, including but not limited to, confined spaces, trenches, vehicle, equipment and machinery operations, compressors, traffic control, and use of pneumatic tools and other power tools

Assists the Utilities Director in organizing, conducting, and documenting (recurring or scheduled) safety meetings

Record field measurements of water and sanitary sewer main lines, taps, valves, hydrants, manholes, cleanouts, and coordinate database map

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget

Investigates issues and recommends and implements resolutions and improvements
