Engineer with Maximo expertise in manufacturing industry - Onsite in Columbus, Ohio

Located near beautiful Columbus, Ohio we are an automotive OEM company looking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Engineer with expertise in utilizing IBM® Maximo Application Suite for Intelligent Asset Management, Monitoring, Predictive Maintenance, and Reliability in the manufacturing industry.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufacturing processes, equipment, and products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, hands-on experience with Maximo software, and a passion for driving continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.

This will be a 3-6 month contract onsite near Columbus, Ohio.

Responsibilities :

• Leverage expertise in IBM Maximo Application Suite to integrate and optimize quality control processes within the manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Maximo modules for asset management, monitoring, and predictive maintenance.
• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures to ensure the highest standards of product quality.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
• Utilize Maximo's analytical tools to gather and analyze data related to asset performance and reliability.
• Generate comprehensive reports to identify trends, areas of concern, and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights obtained through Maximo.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
• Work closely with production teams, maintenance, and other stakeholders to address quality issues promptly.

Provide training and support to personnel on Maximo software usage and best practices.

Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

Identify potential risks to product quality and manufacturing processes and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.

Job Details

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in manufacturing quality engineering roles.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Certifications in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
