Location Requirement : Ability and willingness to work onsite in either San Diego, California, or Arlington, Virginia are highly preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

• Innovate new networking strategies and protocol concepts that blend traditional approaches with emerging technologies.
• Design and prototype avant-garde versions of networking protocols, such as enhancing BGP to include quantum sensing for link security evaluation.
• Define, simulate, and assess pioneering networking protocols to meet next-generation performance and security needs.
• Research and evaluate cutting-edge network infrastructure technologies with actionable recommendations.
• Plan, design, and refine network systems leveraging both novel and traditional protocols.
• Generate technical documentation, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and lead knowledge transfer initiatives.
