The Manufacturing Technician will assemble medical grade refrigeration equipment with the use of hand tools. This employee must be well organized, detail oriented, able to follow multi-step processes, easily take direction, able to proof and check own work for accuracy and to correct mistakes.

Working with plant employees requires a role model profile that reflects the rules and discipline levels employed on the shop floor.\n
Some overtime may be required.\n

What You'll Do
\n
Perform a series of basic and some moderately complex operations using a variety of hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and work instructions to properly produce and assemble medical grade refrigeration equipment.\n
Inspect completed work for conformance to verbal and written instructions, drawings, and specifications.\n
Maintain thorough understanding of how the work being done produces a quality part.\n
Maintain clean, organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.\n
Check for prescribed dimensions in jigs, fixtures with calipers, micrometers, and other inspection devices.\n
Follow and accurately interpret written instructions, drawings, planning, sketches, and best practice worksheets.\n
Perform periodic cycle counts of inventory and non-inventory parts.\n
Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.\n
Other duties as assigned.\n

What You'll Bring

High School Diploma required.\n
Must possess knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.\n
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate rapidly and effectively within the organization and to represent the company in a professional manner to suppliers and visitors.\n
Must be willing and able to independently pursue assignments with maximum problem-solving resolve and minimal supervision but must also readily ask for direction and help when needed.\n
Ability to shift priorities as needed and work in a fast-paced environment.\n
Ability to follow demonstrated steps.\n
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., have good manual dexterity, perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and frequent movement of the whole body, and occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.\n
3 years' experience in manufacturing assembly / production is\n
Ability to read engineering drawings\n
Forklift certification\n
Refrigeration / HVAC experience\n
Electrical wiring experience in a manufacturing environment\n
Some college coursework, Associate's or Bachelor's degree\n
Must pass drug screen and background check\n
\n

Must be willing and able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision, but must also readily ask for direction and help when needed\n
Must have reliable transportation\n
