Job Summary We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Director to lead strategic growth initiatives focused on Real World Data (RWD) and Insights. This quota-carrying role involves identifying and securing large contracts for data licensing and services within the life sciences and healthcare sectors. The ideal candidate will have deep market knowledge, strong consultative sales experience, and a proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.\n\nResponsibilities : \nProspect and build a strong pipeline to drive new business development and expansion (cross-sell / up-sell) in assigned territories.^Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting in CRM systems.^Ensure smooth handoff of new business to implementation teams using documented procedures.^Coordinate internal resources to meet targets for market penetration, revenue, margin, client satisfaction, and compliance.^Track and report pipeline metrics, success rates, and financial performance.^Develop expert-level knowledge of company services, products, infrastructure, and operations.^Represent the company at industry conferences and client meetings, building relationships with C-level stakeholders.^Conduct market research to identify client needs, current solutions, and decision-making criteria.^Collaborate with leadership to identify service and product enhancements.^Maintain compliance with company policies, confidentiality standards, and HIPAA requirements.^Travel routinely to client sites and conferences nationwide.
