Overview
Cath Lab Interventional Rad Tech - Full Time - Varied at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley. Rotating - 10 Hour shifts (United States of America).
What You Will Do
- Prepare and position patients for interventional procedures
- Monitor and document all essential hemodynamic measurements throughout diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures
- Utilize and troubleshoot adjunct diagnostic and interventional modalities necessary to complete procedures
- Provide technical skills to assist the physician in performing interventional procedures
- Maintain a safe environment for patients undergoing interventional procedures, including methods to reduce radiation exposure
- Monitor and document all X-ray exposure doses; ensure radiation protection protocols are followed by all staff and patients
- Inventory and stock procedure rooms; complete expired stock lists monthly
- Participate in cross training in Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology Lab; maintain required CEUs for certification / licensure
- Ensure electronic data is correctly sent to appropriate destinations
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and / or treatments
- Adhere to C-I-CARE standards of the hospital for patient-centered interactions

Base Pay Scale
Generally starting at $74.10 - $99.47 per hour. The finalists salary will be set based on factors including internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a specific wage.
