UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Safe Harbor is excited to welcome an enthusiastic and driven Crisis Technician I to our Crisis Residential Unit (CRU) team!
Safe Harbor's Crisis Residential Unit (CRU) is an 8-bed facility designed to provide an alternative to inpatient behavioral health care. Our multidisciplinary team-comprising registered nurses, CRNPs / PAs, master's level therapists, technicians, and a discharge specialist-works collaboratively to offer comprehensive services such as medication management, therapeutic support (both group and individual), and essential referrals for ongoing care.
As our ideal candidate, you will possess a high school diploma and bring a strong desire to learn. While prior experience in behavioral health or crisis- related settings is a plus, it is not required. We will provide comprehensive training upon hire to ensure your success in this role!
This position will work a Monday through Friday, daylight schedule, 7a-3p. Flexibility required to support program coverage and holidays as needed. The dress code is business casual and free on-site parking, ensuring a comfortable and convenient work environment.
