What You'll Be Doing :

As a key member of the engineering team, you will split your time (30-50%) on the manufacturing floor, taking full ownership of process improvements and capital projects in a high-volume, process-oriented manufacturing plant. You will report to the Engineering Manager and drive results by :

Who We're Looking For :

We are looking for an individual who is eager to take ownership, support team members, and thrive in a fast-paced environment!

Required Experience :

1. Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Technology)

2. Minimum of 3-5 years of engineering experience in a similar manufacturing environment

3. Proven track record in overseeing process engineering functions (e.g., scrap reductions, efficiency improvements, line layouts)

4. Experience overseeing project engineering functions related to equipment and / or facilities

5. Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting capabilities

6. Basic project management experience, including overseeing project timelines

7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office , specifically Excel

Preferred Skills (But Not Required) :

1. Experience in a related process-oriented manufacturing industry, such as food, beverage, chemical, consumer packaging, coatings, or refinery

2. Experience with PLCs, robotics, and / or automation

3. Budget oversight for projects

4. Lean or Six Sigma Certification

5. Experience working in 24 / 7 / 365 environments

6. Ability to update AutoCAD drawings

7. General understanding of P&ID drawings
