Job Description :

General Summary : The Operator manages switchboard operations.

Desired / Required Qualifications :

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates degree (preferred)

Specific skills & abilities : Two years of work experience in similar job or work environment Medical office experience Medical assistant certification

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

• Answer and direct telephone calls taking accurate messages.
• Manage hospital consults
• Administrative duties to include the completion of death certificates, scanning of obituaries, changing of patient status in computer systems and send out sympathy cards. Act as a resource to communicate clinician and administration schedules.
• All other duties as assigned.
