Position Description :

The Program Coordinator II supports the daily operations of MCW Restorative Systems (RS), including Restorative Practices (RP) and Restorative Justice (RJ), ensuring effective implementation of RJ initiatives, conflict resolution processes, educational programming, and any research and evaluation projects associated with that work. The Program Coordinator is a key liaison between those requesting RP / RJ, internal teams, and external stakeholders, and is responsible for case management, training coordination, data management, and strategic planning in alignment with MCW's institutional values and MCW RS goals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of all cases.
  • Monitor incoming RS requests, conduct initial outreach, and triage to appropriate resources.
  • Work with program leaders to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive case management databases and files related to the program.
  • Track follow-ups and close cases.
  • Maintain program timeline including tracking deadlines and program components.
  • Collaborate on the development of program materials including educational materials, marketing materials, websites, forms, and reports.
  • Monitor and track professional development agendas.
  • Collaborate with AWSM Program Manager to create meeting agendas for standing meetings.
  • Organize internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events. Conduct or coordinate training for program participants.
  • Coordinate and conduct outreach and build a common RS language across the MCW community.
  • Provide necessary feedback regarding RS meetings to AWSM staff, especially if there is a concern or problem.
  • Develop strong working relationships with campus and community partners.
  • Collaborate with HR, Faculty Affairs, Title IX, Academic Affairs, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate recurring and ad hoc meetings related to RS programming.
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate RS related data; present insights to RS leadership.
  • Coordinate quarterly data reviews and progress to stakeholders; and contribute to strategic planning.Report program data and progress to program stakeholders. Provide input on program design.
  • Support budget tracking and resource allocation.
  • Assist in recruitment, selection, and training of board members (students, faculty, staff, community members).
  • Coordinate orientation and ongoing training for Board and RS team.
  • Schedule Board meetings and assist with agenda and minutes.

Restorative Practices Training

  • Attend Tier 1, 2, and 3 RP training within 60 days of hire.
  • Attend yearly professional development training / continuing education training.
  • Knowledge - Skills - Abilities

    Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, collaboration, and information management.

    Organization, time management, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

    Customer focus, building trust, communication, critical thinking, and influencing skills.

    Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision making and problem-solving skills.

    Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, experience and / or training in crisis intervention, facilitation, or restorative justice.

    Preferred Schedule : M-F 8-5

    Position Requirements :

    Appropriate experience may be substituted on equivalent basis.

    Minimum Required Education : Bachelors Degree

    Minimum Required Experience : 3 years

    Preferred Education : Bachelor's Degree

    Preferred Experience : 5+ years
