Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Full-Time Urgent Care Role | Central California

A well-established medical group in Central California is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Urgent Care team. This is a weekday-only position offering a great mix of autonomy, support, and work-life balance—ideal for a provider who enjoys the fast pace of urgent care but wants to avoid the chaos of the emergency department.

Position Overview

– Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (no weekends)

– Setting : Outpatient Urgent Care

– Patient Types : Broad mix of acute and minor urgent conditions including :

– Sprains, strains, cuts, and minor burns

– Respiratory infections, colds, flus, sinus / ear infections

– GI issues, rashes, back pain, and minor injuries

Compensation & Benefits

– Salary : $140,000–$145,000 annually

– 15 days of vacation annually (increases to 4 weeks after 3 years)

– Paid sick leave and holidays per organizational policy

– CME : 5 paid days + up to $2,100 / year reimbursement

– Licensure, DEA, and one professional membership covered

– Productivity bonus : $10 per encounter beyond 22 / day, paid quarterly
