Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED. Technical college or certifications preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the food, beverage, or other high speed automated manufacturing environment. Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Ability to troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC systems. Ability to program preferred.
• Computer literacy required with proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word. Knowledge of preventative maintenance software required.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledgeable on OSHA laws and can implement all OSHA required training for the department.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pass a drug test and physical exam.
• Ability and willingness to work 12 hour shifts and the flexibility to work a flexible full time schedule that may include weekends and holidays.

Essential Job Duties :

Sign-On Bonus Agreement

You will receive a $4,000 sign-on bonus following the successful completion of your 90-day probationary period.

This bonus is contingent upon completing at least one year of continuous service with the company. If you voluntarily resign or are terminated for cause before completing one year of service, you agree to repay the bonus according to the following schedule :

Work Environment :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is exposed to wet and / or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions; and a noise level requiring use of hearing protection.

GMP & PPE Required

While on the production floor in the plant you will be required to follow and help to enforce all GMP regulations in the plant. Anyone entering the production floor must follow the GMP rules in their employee handbook, which includes the required hairnets, beard nets, and earplugs. It is also required that all personnel wear safety glasses as the tasks requires. Follow standard operating procedures including quality checks and procedures for all operations. Meets food safety and quality objectives and the requirements of the SQF System.
